EMBRACE is an educational platform by me Simon Leclercq with the goal of helping you improve your photography, the way you approach photography but also how you look at your own work.
Photography as an art is powerful and can be very personal.
As a profession this art form does not necessarily have to change but becomes a fine balance between your style as a photographer and artist, your aspirations as a professional and business owner, and provider.
WHAT I OFFER
Coaching & teaching is something I have always loved doing.
The aim of Embrace is to help you find what you need in your photography and work with that.
Be it technical or creative aspects. Or about light, composition & capturing moments.
Maybe you’d rather think about your style or your creative goals, and where your work should go next?
Or what about storytelling, flash photography, workflow, selecting, editing, and curating? Yes please.
Sometimes we need to zoom out to zoom in. We can do that together.
Whatever you need – Embrace will add value.
01 ASK ME ANYTHING
You can ask me what you want. Anything goes, about photography & photography business related things.
2 hours of one on one teaching. In person or through a video call.
A small questionnaire will be sent beforehand to gauge what you are looking for and what you would like to ask me. I’ll be prepared.
Ask me anything is made for photographers at all stages in their career who want help with specific things in the short term.

02 MENTORING PROGRAM
A personalised program to cater to your needs as a photographer. Looking at where you are now and looking forward in how you want to evolve with your work.
3 sessions of 2-3 hours over the course of the year. These sessions can be planned before, during and after a wedding season.
The mentoring program for me is helping you find a good balance in your work. I have developed several ways we can look at your work to help evolve creatively in a way that feels fun and natural.
Whatever you need. Some examples from past students:

- Better storytelling,
- Being more creative.
- The big question: what next with my work?
- Really understanding how to use light
- Making more consistent work.
- … etc etc
I prepare each session with a lot of thought and care. I am prepared. We usually work with prints on the wall to really zoom out and get a better/broader look at your pictures.
During the whole program I am available to answer your questions, ideas, problems or a little feedback on an image here and there.
Mentoring over time so ideas & techniques can be implemented, tried and tested with the next session building upon your experiences.
